Mandell Winter spent two years showing up for work everyday at a place where he had no job. Sound crazy? We all know the path to an acting career is long and windy, but did you know the path to getting a part in "The Incredibles" winds through a pizzeria bathroom in Chicago? I get up close and personal with the first ever recipient of the Don LaFontaine Voiceover Spirit Award, the first female nominee for a Golden Trailer Award for Best Voiceover in 10 years, Rebecca Davis. You've certainly heard her voice before, but just didn't know it. Rebecca's giving spirit comes through while we laugh about the importance of taking your craft (but not  yourself) seriously.

Somehow I managed to steal an hour time form the busiest re-recording mixer in Hollywood, John Cook. With a whopping 34 Emmy nominations John is one of the most experienced and decorators Mixers in Hollywood history. While gaining a reputation as one of the top mixers in comedy, John has still built a diverse career full of dramas feature films and beyond. Come sit with me and John as we hear about the insane way he got his first job and explore what's important for Hollywood success. 

Micha sits down with his old boss Lori Slomka and discusses her unique Hollywood career. Lori takes us on a journey from growing up with a dad who was himself a legend in Hollywood sound through her own career as one of the busiest music editors in town to eventually becoming the boss of the entire post department as a post production producer. Micha and Lori discuss the differences between being a music editor now and in the old analog film days and explore how the technology has changed the way we tell stories. 

One of Micha's favorite recordist of all time, Milo Train, talks about his journey from "cappuccino fairy" and sound assistant at West Wind Media to re-recording mixer at Universal. Milo talks about his almost two decade long climb up the "sound ladder" shadowing some of Hollywood's greats. We learn all kinds of things from milo like what a mix stage is and how the crews work together to make the sounds of Hollywood. Dedicated to the memory of the great Alan Decker.

Micha chats with his childhood friend Gabriel Mann about Gabe's journey from assistant to solo artist to composer for Modern Family and member of hit band The Rescues. His prolific career spans drama and comedy, scoring, singing, and songwriting. He tells us about his path to writing music for shows like A Million Little Things and High School Musical: The Musical:The Series. We learn about what it was like to go from touring with Alanis to singing on projects like Office Space, The Lorax and even singing on the Oscars with Adele. 

Micha Liberman sits down with his friend and colleague, ten time Emmy nominee Mathew Waters. They discuss Mathew's career from "King of the Hill" to "Hercules to "Jackass" to "Game of Thrones."Micha and Matt reminisce about working on together throughout the years on  "Cold Case," "Rectify" and their current project "Only Murders in the Building," while Matt Tells stories about how he came to Hollywood and shares some of his favorite sound moments in his career.
